    Operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration, this site is an index of loans available for small businesses.
  • Small Business Surety Bond Program
    Operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration, this program can guarantee bid performance and payment bonds for contracts up to $1.25 million for small businesses that are unable to obtain bonds through regular commercial channels.
  • Small Business 7(A) Loan Guaranty Program
    Operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration, this program provides loans to small businesses unable to secure financing on reasonable terms through normal lending channels.
  • Community Facilities Loan Program
    Operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, this program provides loans for public community facilities in rural areas and towns.

Environmental

  • Border Environment Infrastructure Fund
    Operated by the North American Development Bank (NADB), this fund facilitates financing for the development, execution and operation of environmental infrastructure projects in the U.S.-Mexico border region by combining grant funds with loans or guaranties for projects that would otherwise be financially unfeasible.

Power and Electric

  • Rural Electric Program
    Operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, this program provides leadership and capital to upgrade, expand, maintain, and replace America’s vast rural electric infrastructure. Under the authority of the Rural Electrification Act of 1936, RUS makes direct loans and loan guarantees to electric utilities to serve customers in rural areas.

Telecommunications

  • Telecommunications Program
    Operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, this program provides financing to promote the construction of telecommunications infrastructure in rural areas.
  • National Telecommunications and Information Administration
    This Agency, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, exists to spur innovation, encourage competition, help create jobs and provide consumers with more choices and better quality telecommunications products and services at lower prices.

Water

  • Community Assistance Program
    Operated by the NADB, this program offers grant financing to support the implementation of projects sponsored by public entities in all environmental sectors eligible for NADB financing.
  • Water and Waste Water Programs
    Operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, these programs provide water and waste disposal loans for rural projects.
